Monochrome Display on Android

I wanted to make my icons and screen on my Android device grayscale/monochrome.  Best instructions I found are below.  However, it makes EVERYTHING grayscale, even videos you are watching.  So it didn't do quite what I wanted.

1. settings

2. System

3. Advanced - Developer Options

4. Developer Options

5. Stimulate color space (Disabled by default)

must be enbable developer on device:
Go to Settings on your device
then go to About Phone
then to Build Number.
The Build Number has to be tapped at least 7-10 times
You will then see a new option on your screen
You are now a developer

GIS Links for the field

Where is the GIS field headed?

 Top skils for GIS professionals

4 Messages for University Presidents and Deans as to why GIS is Necessary and Important to their University.

4 reasons why universities should be using GIS, or geotechnologies--geographic information systems.

1.    Given the complex problems we face as a society, most or all of which are tied to space and place, the whys of where questions will be asked by ALL disciplines in this decade and beyond.

2.    The complex and inter-disciplinary nature of these problems and issues are not going to be able to be solved with a single discipline, static paper maps, or standard workflows and visualizations, hence, GIS-location analytics-geotechnologies

3.    Using geotechnologies touches on all higher education larger goals – spatial thinking, critical thinking, meaningful use of technologies, working with data, and problem solving.

4.    Using geotechnologies enables students to be marketable in their future careers, which reflects positively on their university training and education, enables them to be change agents in their communities and in their world.
