There are lots of antivirus programs out there. Here is a great article from PC Mag. I've tried most of these and have been most happy with Bitdefender.
For removal tools, here are what I always put on my computer:
- Malwarebytes
- SUPER Antispyware
- Spybot
- Norton Power Eraser
- Combofix
