Getting Satellite Basemaps to work on Marplot

If you have installed the current version of Marplot, you've probably noticed that the satellite basemap does not work.  Here is how to fix it:

Go to:

Public Documents-MarplotMaps-BasemapFiles-Settings-global.map

open global.map in notepad.  Change the following:

original:
  CONNECTION  "http://raster.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/services/Orthoimagery/USGS_EDC_Ortho_NAIP/ImageServer/WMSServer"




Edit/fixed:
  CONNECTION  "http://raster.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/services/Orthoimagery/USGS_EROS_Ortho_NAIP/ImageServer/WMSServer"

The easiest way I've found to generate a favicon.ico is to use:

I'd recomend using paint.net, Gimp, or Paint to create your original .png
