Export geospatial pdf using QGIS

It has been awhile, but wanted to create a geospatial pdf using QGIS (to use with Avenza's app).

I am using QGIS 3.4.  I was running into some issues in getting it to work.  Exporting pdfs was easy, getting them to have the georefrenced info was proving difficult.

To get it to work, I did the following:

• Created a map, used the CRS:  WGS 84  EPSG:4326
• Created a new print layout
• Made sure to check the Save world file under the export settings
• Exported pdf in the Layout composer 

That seemed to do the trick! 

After playing around, it appears that checking the save world file is not an essential step, as not checking that allowed for it all to work out just fine.
